Agriculture is made up of two Latin words, Ager and cultura .ager means field or soil,and cultura means cultivation.So cultivation of soil is known as agriculture.
The scientific definition of agriculture is—
Agriculture is practice of farming including cultivation of soil for growing of crops and rearing of animals to provide food,wool and other products.

This manual was developed to target the educators associated with middle school and informal groups, including 4-H, Future Farmers of America (FFA) clubs, etc.
This video covers basic agricultural concepts, including what plants require in order to grow, an understanding of terminology, and an introduction to basic inputs (including soil enhancements), a discussion of pH, and other soil and plant issues.
